Osa is an elementary teacher who has worked in Turkey, Germany, the U.A.E., and the U.S. Born to a Nigerian diplomat mother, she traveled to and lived on four continents before the age of fifteen. Osa's experiences as a Third Culture Kid taught her adaptive skills that allow her to thrive in many environments and easily connect with others.
Moving to the United States as a teenager, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance, working as a classical singer in the Washington, D.C. area for over a decade. Osa then discovered a passion for teaching, after working as a volunteer teacher to adult E.L.L.s. She graduated George Mason University's Curriculum & Instruction program (M.Ed.) in 2009. Osa is presently pursuing a Master's degree in Education Leadership, as she believes that she can have a positive impact outside of a single classroom.
Osa is a lifelong learner who enjoys reading, visiting new places, and spending time with friends and family. She is available for consulting work in curricular design, community building, multiculturalism, and K-3 tutoring.
